This design competition seeks an exciting vision for the development of Frankston Station, located in Melbourne to revitalise the station precinct, improve the amenity for all who use the station, and create a new 'gateway' for Frankston. The Victorian Government is investing $63 million in the Frankston Station Precinct Redevelopment to deliver a safer, more modern place of business and activity and grow investment towards the long term-vision of a revitalised Frankston city centre. 

Functionally, Frankston is a gateway to the Mornington Peninsula and the Frankston Station project would provide the opportunity for a visionary redefinition of the city.The design proposes a bold entry statement, that symbolizes a destination as well as the beginning of an adventure, the Peninsula Gateway will act as a catalyst for the rejuvenation and activation of Frankston that is both functional and cost effective.  

Architecturally, the station draws inspiration from the physically active nature of maritime activities as well as the relaxation on the sand. The main idea was to merge these characteristics into an iconic landmark that would function as a transportation hub that connects the commercial enclaves adjacent to the city center as well as the education and sports precincts.  

The Peninsula Gateway features a dynamic wavelike roof form as a signature element to provide shelter and visual scale to the station. Underneath this iconic structure, a pedestrian link allows for a seamless connection between what was once a barrier between the Chisholm TAFE Center and the city. Besides that, the upgrading of the underpass to an audio-visual display and performance area would invite a more exciting experience.

Oasis Skylines is a proposed comprehensive pedestrian network for overall Oasis Damansara linking between two major transportation elements, LRT Station 2 and future KTMB station. It is planned to provide an interconnected open space system on ground and elevated walkway system for pedestrian that links to all parts of the development.

The pedestrian network proposed consists of variety programs specifically for pedestrian activities and to encourage its movement through the use of such features as plazas, inner courtyards, amenable streetscapes and other indoor and outdoor places for gathering. Inter-parcel pedestrian network connections are also encouraged to add the mobility of the entire development area.

Client : SpringHill Group
This is an opportunity to re-imagine connectivity in the whole area of Shah Alam. With low impact movement between key locations; resorts, hotels, retail centers and airports, this will also have BRT and LRT rail becoming part of the city’s experience. This walkable city (more people on the street create better connectivity and security). The social, cultural and economic sustainability is the key components of this urban design which promotes eco living for everyone and not just elites. The diversity reflects the wider/national community; racially integrated, mixed incomes in one urban environment. The exemplary social infrastructure includes intelligent placement of schools, medical facilities, and cultural experiences that also optimize balance of indoor and outdoor spaces, personal and common spaces.

Client : MinConsult Sdn Bhd
A government based project that requires to study all potential and possibilities for LRT Line 3 alignment and its stations locations. This project includes the study of economic, social impact, engineering, transport planning and land matters amongst other physical studies. The physical study involved connectivity, potential of park & ride, transport oriented development and potential connection to other public transportation modes.

The LRT3 alignment that runs from One Utama to Johan Setia will consist of 26 stations, which 4 stations are an integrated stations (with MRT station, KTMB and BRT), and 11 stations with Park & Ride.

Client : Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad
The goal on this project is to create a transportation terminal that also acts as a central commercial hub in Butterworth on the mainland of Penang. The assimilation of shopping, retail, entertainment and dining experiences will attract crowds of all ages and create a sensational "hype" as the new destination in town. Precedence around the world has proven that a strategic planning of commercial spaces adjacent to transportation nodes could easily boosts commercial vibrancy
