The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), featuring 20 stations designed by VERITAS, is a transformative infrastructure project slated for completion in 2026. This standardized double-track railway will connect the East Coast Economic Region with Peninsular Malaysia, facilitating efficient passenger and freight transport. The project integrates key structures such as tunnels and bridges, ensuring a robust and unified signaling system across the network, and exemplifies our dedication to sustainable development and connectivity. This visionary project, tailored for China Communications Construction (CCC), is poised to become a cornerstone of Malaysian infrastructure development.

Chan Sow Lin MRT Station masterfully integrates into its evolving industrial district with a design that marries industrial heritage and modern aesthetics. Utilizing materials like perforated and folded metal plates, it features double-volume high walls and artistic concourse feature walls, symbolizing a bridge between the past and present.

Conlay Station in Kuala Lumpur's craft center showcases our design philosophy of interpreting local culture. Through meticulous use of patterns, textures, and warm colors, it reflects the spirit of Malay arts and crafts. A prominent feature wall with a weaving pattern interpretation ensures the station remains a vibrant tribute to cultural heritage amid urban progress. Both stations exemplify our commitment to blending functionality with cultural reverence, embodying the essence of their surroundings while paving the way for future developments.

Seremban Sentral harmoniously merges the historic 1904 station with contemporary architecture, creating a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. The preservation of the original structure honors its storied past while seamlessly integrating Minangkabau design motifs, paying homage to the region's cultural heritage. This fusion results in a striking architectural ensemble that not only serves as a gateway to Seremban but also stands as a testament to the enduring beauty of architectural evolution.

The keyword for Pasar Seni MRT Station, situated between Sungai Klang and Sungai Gombak, is ‘Confluence’. While the theme for Bukit Bintang MRT Station is ‘Dynamic’- expressing the ever present dynamism and vibrancy of the city’s CBD. The design is articulated in a bold, feature wall composed of a dynamic trapezoidal geometry in different tones of red that suggests movement.

The Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit is a proposed 3-line 150 km Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system in the Klang Valley/Greater KL conurbation which envisages a “Wheel and Spoke” concept comprising two Northeast-Southwest radial lines and one circle line looping around Kuala Lumpur city. Klang Valley MRT will not only significantly increase the current inadequate rail network but will also serve to integrate the existing rail networks and expectantly alleviate the severe traffic congestion in the Greater KL metropolitan area.

The design philosophy for the architectural aspect of the underground stations was predetermined by Klang Gates Quartz. From this basis, the team proceeded to layer the interior of each station with its individual concept that reflects each station’s unique site and historical context.

The theme for the Merdeka MRT station, sited close to Stadium Merdeka, is of “Merdeka” where the Malaysian Independence was proclaimed. A tribute is paid by having an ‘Independence’ themed station. Patriotic images are featured on the concourse level which includes the proclamation of Merdeka by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman, as well as the essential passage of the Rukun Negara (the core values of Malaysia) engraved onto the main feature wall.

Muzium Negara MRT Station, located next to KL Sentral, for example, adopted the concept of ‘Transition’, based on the fact that the museum is a treasure trove of all things antique and priceless, whilst it is surrounded by neighbouring developments which are all brand new. 

Client : Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad 
The goal on this project is to create a transportation terminal that also acts as a central commercial hub in Butterworth on the mainland of Penang. The assimilation of shopping, retail, entertainment and dining experiences will attract crowds of all ages and create a sensational "hype" as the new destination in town. Precedence around the world has proven that a strategic planning of commercial spaces adjacent to transportation nodes could easily boosts commercial vibrancy.

The third Light Rail Transit (LRT3) line, extending from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia, features 26 stations, including one underground station. VERITAS is contributing to the design of eight stations: Glenmarie (Station 3), Temasya, Glenmarie, Stadium, Persiaran Hishamuddin (underground), Seksyen 14, Sirim, and UiTM. The core design elements encompass platforms, access to platforms, facilities, vertical movement, and the layout for bus access, kiss-and-ride, and park-and-ride. The aim is to standardize the design across stations, incorporating consistent shelters, platform amenities, and structural designs.

The use of identical equipment, furniture, and signage is mandated across all stations to maintain uniformity. These design standards are to be applied across all stations on the new LRT3 Line, with the layout of each station shaped by several factors: the chosen system, track geometry, operational needs, anticipated passenger numbers, and electrical and mechanical specifications. Stations are divided into private (restricted access) and public sections, the latter further divided into entry points, concourses, and platforms.

For areas of significance, the "tanjak" concept is adopted, characterized by a multi-faceted pitched roof that effectively addresses Malaysia's climate. This architectural feature is intended to be replicated across all stations.

Client : MYHSR Corp
The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) is a project linking Kuala Lumpur to Singapore via a high-speed rail line. The HSR line is 350 km long, and is expected to reduce travel time between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore to 90 minutes. It will also stop at several Malaysian cities such as Malacca and Seremban as it travels along the west coast of West Malaysia. The line starts from Bandar Malaysia in Malaysia and ends at Jurong East in Singapore. VERITAS designed the Batu Pahat, Muar, Melaka, Seremban and Bangi-Putrajaya HSR stations.

Client: China Communication Construction (CCC)
The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) is a standard gauge double-track railway link infrastructure project between Port Klang and Kota Bharu, connecting the East Coast Economic Region states of Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan to one another and to Peninsular Malaysia's West coast and Central Region e.g. Negeri Sembilan. The project will eventually carry both passengers and freight from the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia to its East Coast and vice versa.  VERITAS has designed 20 stations of this line. The project is expected to be completed in 2026.

Client : Urban Development Authority (UDA) 
The existing 1970's Puduraya Bus Station building is refurbished with new exterior cladding to give it a fresh contemporary look. The design of the building uses careful restoration techniques in combination with new building materials. The interior space planning was revamped and redesigned by VERITAS Interiors Sdn. Bhd. Located at Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. 

Client : DRB - Hicom Bhd
Built in 1914-1917, the Ipoh Railway Station is the main station for the Rawang to Ipoh Electrified Double Track Project. The proposed rehabilitation and expansion of the Ipoh Railway Station takes into consideration its status as a living historical monument. It is therefore designed to recapture the glory of the golden age of rail as well as to herald the new age of high speed rail travel. The modern new extension pays respect to the existing station building while opening up the platform to the grand railway hall. 

Client: Perbadanan Putrajaya 
The Putrajaya Bus and Taxi Terminal is made up of two separate terminals consisting of bus bays, taxi bays, ticketing and passenger amenities which are housed underneath a series of overlapping light umbrella roofs. It is located in Putrajaya. 

Client : DRB - Hicom Bhd 
The project comprises of 14 stations and Halts for the Rawang to Ipoh Electrified Double Track Project. The simple and elegant form of the building is created by balancing a modern vocabularly with traditional features to project the image of high speed rail travel in a tropical climate. These modern single-storey side-platform stations are designed as focal points and catalysts for growth to the small towns along the rail corridor. 

Client : Monorail Malaysia Technology Sdn Bhd
The Western Transportation Terminal brings together multiple modes of public transportation under one roof. Catering for up to 100,000 passengers per day, the transportation center comprises of high-speed KLIA express rail route, monorail station, commuter and local bus and taxi stations. The assemblage of buildings is linked physically and visually by the central terminal concourse which is the connecting spine and anchor for the multiple transport components. The station will be the public gateway to Putrajaya, Malaysia's new government administration centre. 

Client :  Beijing General Municipal Engineering and Design Research Institute
The Beijing 5th Rail is part of a large transit infrastructure to link the whole of Beijing. The 5th Rail network consist of 6 stations running parallel to the Olympic site that is a few blocks away. Designed as a series of stops that tell a story to be interpreted differently, it expounds the ideals of the Olympic's, sustainable city scape development and a message of humanism. These ideals are merged with the story of Beijing to create a simple but elegant built form; solid and natural at the base, it opens up to ligther clear transparent canopies to allow generous daylight to the platforms.

There’ll be seven stations created – one transfer station that intersects with the existing Red Line, three elevated stations, two underground stations, and a main hub at the Expo site.
